Amazon

A five-storey Amazon warehouse thought to be the biggest in the world is coming to South California.

The 4.1 million-square-foot facility in Riverside County will be the company's biggest warehouse in both Southern California and the world.

Many jobs are expected to be created as part of this development.

When finished, the warehouse and automation building in Southwest Ontario will be five storeys tall and is so big it could accommodate all of Disney California Adventure inside with room to spare.

The project, which has been in the works for a little over a year, adds to the overwhelming number of warehouses in the Inland Empire.

Southern California has approximately 3,300 large-scale warehouse distribution hubs with at least 100,000 square feet of space.

Ontario has the most warehouses in the area, with 289 facilities that fulfill that size criterion.
