Living life can be a challenge. Which path should I follow? How should I respond? What should I do? Many similar questions face us almost daily, whether it is to do with our job, our relationships or life itself.

In ‘Walk With The Wise’ Tim Binder and Ron Owen take thought-provoking quotations and offer their own ideas to stimulate and guide those who wish to understand life’s challenges.

Tim and Ron are used to helping people to make decisions regarding their lives; they have been mentors and life coaches over many years. They do not dish out answers, rather they assist people to ask themselves relevant questions, perhaps see life a little differently and find the answers which are right for them.

The Authors
Tim Binder – Working life for Tim began as a primus stove cleaner with the Outward Bound Schools followed by 14 years in the Royal Marines where his love of reading, writing, poetry and ballet inevitably led to a parting of the ways. Some 20 years in personnel positions in international construction companies came to an end in 1986, since when he has been engaged in career coaching and counselling with the UK’s leading provider, where he met and was trained and mentored by Ron. Now no longer in full-time employment, he can really indulge his interests in writing, the arts and the outdoors.

Ron Owen – Born and brought up in Inner Liverpool, Ron attended Liverpool Institute High School, won a  scholarship to Oxford, emerged with a degree in Modern Languages and found a new world of opportunity opening up before him. Since then he has had what he describes as five careers: teacher, RAF officer, personnel manager, consultant and coach. In his ‘retirement’ he continues to coach people who have been made redundant, is a bereavement support volunteer and, as an aspiring writer, hopes one day to become half as good as Graham Greene.
