Two companies in Kentucky are among the best places to work in the US, it has been revealed.
Baptist Health and Elizabethtown Community Technical College in Hardin County have been by Forbes in the Leading 150 Large Employers on its list of America’s Best Employers 2022.
Five major firms in Kentucky were added to the Fortune 500 list in February 2022.
Baptist Health was ranked fourth in Kentucky in Forbes’ America’s Best Employers By State in 2021.
Angie Mannino, the chief people and culture officer for Baptist Health, said: “We are honored to be chosen as a leading employer among such highly-regarded companies.”
“This recognition is a great compliment to our employees who have shown their deep dedication to our patients during this pandemic.”
The selection was conducted through an independent survey carried out to approximately 60,000 American employees working for different companies with over 1,000 employees in America.
Elizabethtown Community and Technical College (ECTC), a member of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System also featured in the list.
The result was announced jointly by the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management and ClearPath Mutual Insurance.
ECTC Chief Human Resources Officer Whitney Taylor said: “At ECTC, we emphasize being good teammates every day, and this recognition is a reflection of our caring culture and the pride our faculty and staff take in their jobs.
“Being named a Best Place to Work is a tribute to every member of the ECTC team and their commitment to serving our students and our community.”
The selection was based on an evaluation of employee policies and procedures, governed by the Workforce Research Group. 100 organizations are included in the 2022 list of Best Places to Work in Kentucky.
