Samsung Galaxy S22 series design detailed, leaked yet again

whatnews

The Samsung Galaxy S22 will be released. There is no specific date yet, but we can confirm that the South Korean tech giant will launch a new premium flagship series. It's vital to know because there have been component shortages in the past year. The Galaxy S21 FE (Fan Edition) will be unveiled before the Galaxy S22 phones. When Samsung company presents its next major Unpacked presentation in February 2022, every rumor, speculation, and the leak will be confirmed.

The normal Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and the higher-specced Galaxy S22 Ultra will all be available. The Ultra will most likely include S-Pen support and a built-in S-Pen slot. It may also include a P-camera design on the back.

The first two Galaxy S22 versions will be more comparable. According to sources, they will be comparable to the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21+. The most visible similarity may be in the camera system, with the Ultra including a new P-camera design. The cameras on all three Galaxy S21 phones are nearly identical, but the Galaxy S22 series will be different next year.

The Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ will very certainly have a similar camera design. The Galaxy S22 Ultra will be completely unique. LetsGoDigital has released another batch of renders by Giuseppe Spinelli (Snoreyn).

An Italian digital artist has revealed the likely design of the Samsung Galaxy S22 5G. The Plus model will be similar but slightly larger. It's also feasible that the Galaxy S22 will have a flat front and back. Even so, the edges will be slightly bent.

According to our insider, the camera island will have a less circular finish in the future. Samsung frequently updates the appearance of its flagship phones, particularly the camera. Hopefully, not making too many changes to the design would help Samsung sell more Galaxy S22 handsets, significantly if the internal specifications are improved.

The Galaxy S22 is expected to have a 6.06-inch display with Full HD+ resolution. This is smaller than the Galaxy S21's 6.2-inch display. The display on the Galaxy S22 Plus will be 6.55-inches rather than the 6.7-inch display on the Galaxy S21+.

Samsung will retain the 120Hz refresh rate and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Although the bezels are narrower, they are symmetrical on all sides. For the entry-level jobs and models, the display brightness will be "brighter," possibly topping 1300 nits. The Ultra has a maximum brightness of 1500 nits.

In terms of the camera, we might anticipate a 10MP selfie camera. Samsung ISOCell GN5 50MP picture sensor with 1.0m pixels and faster autofocus, 12MP ultra-wide-angle, and a new telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom is expected to be included in the Galaxy S22 and S22+.

Exynos 2200 with AMD GPU (Europe) or Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 processors will power the phones. 5G connectivity will be available soon. 8GB of RAM is possible, with 128GB of internal storage. The phones will come pre-installed with Android 12 and One UI 4.

Battery capacity may be lower for all variants or remain the same. The Samsung S22 5G is said to only come with a 3700mAh battery compared to the 4000mAh battery in the Galaxy S21. Charging speed may still be 25W, but the Plus and Ultra versions may support up to 45W.
