Aris Gennadios, President of Softgel & Oral Technologies at Catalent, said: “The nature of the development pipeline being strong in both oncology treatments and complex molecules necessitate expansion of specific capabilities.”

The development will create more laboratory space, strengthen the facility’s material handling abilities and containment vault, and add capacity for turnkey operations.

Catalent already expanded by 190,000 square feet in 2015 and invested $40 million in new production equipment in 2019.

They have increased fluid bed capacity, stick pack dose, roller compaction, and integrated packaging lines as part of that progress.
