Amy College has been named Chief Merchandising Officer of Petco Health and Wellness Company.

She will be in charge of creating and implementing Petco’s global merchandising strategy, including visual merchandising and merchandising operations. She will also serve on Petco’s Executive Committee.

College, who joined Petco as Senior Vice President, Operations & Strategy and Territory General Manager in September 2019, has been a key figure in the company’s development, spearheading several strategic growth projects in recent years.

She spent the previous 20 years of his career at Best Buy in merchandising and category management leadership roles, ranging from buyer to vendor management to Chief Category Officer. Nick Konat, who will be departing Petco, will be succeeded by her.
