Although Friday the 13th may be considered an unlucky day for some people, it is good news for job seekers in Ireland. This week, Ireland announced more than 200 new STEM-related positions, and the company is preparing to hire in industries such as energy jobs, engineering, and pharmaceuticals.
Engineering services company CJK announced that it would create 100 jobs in Ireland in the next three years after acquiring the Dublin company McGrattan & Kenny. The two companies will retain existing employees and recruit electromechanical technicians and engineering, operations and management personnel.
In addition, the energy company ActionZero said it plans to hire 80 new employees in Münster. The newly formed company was created after the recent merger of Energy Services and Straightline Energy Solutions.
ActionZero currently has 22 employees in Cork and Carey and will hire another 80 employees as part of its mission to help the company reduce its carbon footprint, which was announced in time after this week’s IPCC report on the climate crisis.
