M&Co makes over 30 job cuts at Scottish HQ

M&Co makes over 30 job cuts at Scottish HQ

The retailer's administrative failure earlier this month has resulted in the layoff of numerous employees at M&Co's Scottish headquarters.

Up to 35 employees at the troubled value retailer's head office in Inchinnan, Scotland, reportedly lost their jobs, according to the industry reporters Drapers.

Employees across all aspects of the business have been made redundant, including its marketing department, IT department, and production studios.

The appointed administrator, Teneo Financial Advisory said there had been layoffs, but withheld specific numbers.

Around 180 UK-based M&Co outlets went out of business earlier this month as a result of mounting costs.
