Hook Norton’s annual open day is back for another year, with the Cotswold Hill-based brewery opening its doors to the local community on 20th April 2013.

The event takes place between 10.30am and 3pm, with a series of activities for the entire family, including a beer tasting for adults to try the brewery’s famous ales, guided tours, a magician and armour-clad fighters. There will also be live music to keep visitors entertained as they explore the brewery, as well as a hog roast, and guests will be able to get up close and personal to an on-site military vehicle.

The brewery’s horses have been given the day off to meet visitors, while face-painters will be on site to paint children in celebration of Hook Norton’s new ale, Lion, which has experienced exceptional sales in its debut four months and is fast becoming the pride of the Cotswolds.

“The team in the brewery can’t wait to welcome the Cotswold Community to our annual open day,” comments Hook Norton Managing Director (Commercial) Adrian Staley. “There’s lots of exciting activities taking place to ensure this is a great event for the whole family and we’re all tremendously looking forward to it.”

Tours on the day cost just £5, with no need to book in advance.
