Hanley Energy adds 343 jobs in $8 million Virginia expansion

Energy management company Hanley Energy adds 343 jobs in Ashburn

Hanley Energy, an Irish energy management firm, will invest $8 million in Loudoun County to grow its Hanley Energy Electrical branch, which will generate 343 jobs.

The company will construct a facility at 44381 Russell Branch Parkway to provide equipment installation and servicing to the Ashburn data center sector.

Among the new positions will be electricians and apprentice electricians.

Gov. Glenn Youngkin said: “Virginia has emerged as one of North America’s premier locations for technology, and Loudoun County is the epicenter of the data center industry.

This contribution is a perfect fit for Hanley Energy and its vital services that keep this sector growing.”

Hanley Energy delivers solutions for crucial power and energy management.

It specializes in developing and constructing turnkey solutions for delivering grid power to data center IT racks.

The firm has been in operation in Ireland for 13 years, and its US headquarters opened in Loudoun County in 2016.
