As majority of workers were forced to work from home remotely, their employers aren’t keen or making it a new normal due to productivity concerns. Most employers do not want their employees returning to full-time work from home anymore.

The other concern for employers is their employees’ mental health and inability to supervise their work. Nonetheless, 58% of professionals would be willing to move their workers working from home permanently.

According to Talint-international 2020 working from home experiment was the largest such event in history and employers should not be at all shocked to see the difference in things like changes in productivity as a result of this transition.

Benefits

The advantages of working from home include being able to lead a healthier lifestyle. Over 45% reported that call-ins with managers and colleagues lead to better results in their working. Some reported that their business communication improved having to rely on technology and telephones.

Reluctance

There are numerous cons of working from home that are incresingly reported by the workers but nobody mentions the importance of face-to-face interactions and a sense of belonging when working in the office setting.

Employers have to decide for themselves what is the most expedient and positive form and arrangement of working conditions for their employees.

This relates to those working in an office environment, majority of workforce does not have that choice because they are unable to do their work from home. People who work on construction site, barbers and hospital staff.
