Mr. Musk has released documents since his Twitter takeover.

They disclose that the platform conspired with the FBI, CIA, Pentagon, and other government agencies to hide information about elections, Ukraine, and the pandemic.

Taibbi’s Twitter threads show that Twitter executives held frequent meetings with FBI and CIA members.

During the talks, US Government members handed over Twitter executives “hundreds of problem accounts” to block during the 2020 election.

In addition to Twitter, Taibbi alleged the government was in contact “with virtually every major tech firm.”

“These included Facebook, Microsoft, Verizon, Reddit, even Pinterest.”

Taibbi stated CIA agents “nearly always” attended meetings of these firms with the FBI’s Foreign Influence Task Force.

He explained that though this task force was formed to resist reported election interference by foreign states, it made “mountains of domestic moderation requests.”
