Disney Jobs Plus now supports Apple’s SharePlay watch party feature, which may help bring some families together to watch Christmas movies without the threat of separations.

The update, which was released today by Disney, includes Apple’s recently introduced group viewing feature for iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, and Mac products.

Given the abundance of popular Christmas content jobs on the platform, as well as the unnecessary Home Alone reboot, it will be an excellent opportunity to have some festive fun. A Marvel original series, Hawkeye is currently airing, with a season finale scheduled for December 29. On the same day, the long-awaited Book Of Boba Fett premieres its first episode, so there’s plenty to look forward to.

SharePlay is now available in an increasing number of music and video apps and on the Apple Fitness Plus platform, which allows for group workouts. NBA, Paramount Plus, Twitch Showtime, and TikTok also support the app, and integrate with apps such as Disney Plus, ESPN, HBO Max, Hulu, MasterClass, Pantaya, Pluto TV, and Starz is either pending or underway.

As the Omicron variant of coronavirus spreads wildly throughout the UK, many families’ Christmas plans are likely to be disrupted once more. If they or a family member tests positive for the virus, millions of people could be forced to isolate.

At the very least, the SharePlay feature on Disney Plus could bring some Christmas cheer to iPhone jobs and iPad users when it appears that there won’t be much.
