As part of his continued efforts to ensure that towns and villages across the Cotswolds are protected against potential flood risk, local MP Geoffrey Clifton-Brown has arranged three separate meetings to be held in Lechlade, Fairford and Moreton-in-Marsh on Friday the 5 November for local residents to hear of the continued flood resilience work taking place in the respective towns and to speak with officials from the County and District Councils, Thames Water and the Environment Agency about ongoing issues.
Details of the events are as follows:
1030 – 1130: Fairford Community Centre
1200 – 1330: Lechlade Methodist Church Hall
1500 – 1630: Moreton Area Centre
These meetings are intended to serve as a continuation of the local engagement process that Mr Clifton-Brown has established with the relevant authorities and will provide an update on progress since the last meetings were held on the 19 March 2010.
