Amongst the most characterful of birds are members of the Corvidae family- a cosmopolitan group of oscine passerine birds that contains the crows, ravens, jays, rooks, jackdaws, magpies, treepies, choughs and nut crackers. This exhibition includes two and three-dimensional items that bring these birds to life.
This exhibition includes paintings, prints and sculpture by artists as diverse as sculptors Terence Coventry, Bryan Hanlon, Geoffrey Dashwood and Harriet Mead; painters Henry Bismuth, George Lodge, Frank Southgate, and Ralston Gudgeon; printmakers Allen Seaby, Ishbel MacDonald, Sue Brown and Kim Atkinson; plus items from Royal Doulton and Royal Copenhagen and other ceramics.
