Gulfstream President Mark Burns said: “The investment in our Appleton facility is a key part of our overall strategy to provide our customers with industry-leading completions and support worldwide.”

The operations will begin in the third quarter of 2023, with the capacity to paint up to 48 aircraft each year.

Gulfstream stated it is looking for engineers, mechanics, and avionics technicians.

The announcement on Thursday, June 2, states that the investment is being made to fulfill client demand and expand its fleet.

The aircraft manufacturer scheduled a job fair on June 9 from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. at its Greenville site at N687 Discovery Drive.

The aircraft paint facility is the latest in a long line of Gulfstream investments in Greenville.

The company completed a $7 million remodel and extension of a hangar where employees finish manufacturing new planes in December.

Gulfstream also hired 200 employees last February when it expanded the facility's completion activities.
